Journal of Education and Instructional Technology (JoEIT) is a scientific journal that publishes research findings, theoretical studies, and innovative practices in the field of education and instructional technology. This journal serves as an academic platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share ideas and discoveries related to the integration of technology in learning, including digital learning media, e-learning, blended learning, LMS development, and ICT innovations in education. Published twice a year, JoEIT implements a double-blind peer review process and accepts manuscripts in both English and Indonesian.


We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, teachers and students to publish their best articles in the Journal of Education and Instructional Technology (JoEIT), Edition: Volume 1 No.1 2025.  


The aim of publishing this journal is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of instructional technology.

 

JoEIT focuses on issues surrounding the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and management of instructional technology to improve the quality of education. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches that connect pedagogy, technology, and innovation to support 21st-century learning.

The scope of JoEIT includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Digital Learning Media: Design, development, and evaluation of interactive, multimedia, and emerging technologies in education.
  • E-Learning and Online Education: Pedagogical models, best practices, and effectiveness of fully online and distance learning environments.
  • Blended and Hybrid Learning: Integration of face-to-face and digital platforms to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Development, utilization, and evaluation of LMS platforms to support personalized and adaptive learning.
  • ICT in Education: Innovation in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for teaching, administration, and educational management.
  • Technology-Enhanced Pedagogy: Theoretical and empirical studies on TPACK, AI in education, gamification, VR/AR, mobile learning, and digital literacy.
  • Instructional Design and Development: Models, strategies, and evaluation of instructional design in technology-supported environments.
  • Policy, Trends, and Issues: Critical analysis of policies, challenges, and trends in the integration of educational technology.

JoEIT welcomes original research articles, theoretical reviews, case studies, and best practice reports. Manuscripts may be submitted in English, and all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
